Workshop held by our member Janneta Bos: WORKING TOGETHER ON INTIMACY AND SEXUALITY AFTER SEXUAL VIOLENCE

EUROPEAN WOMEN’S NETWORK AGAINST SEXUAL VIOLENCE presents you our member Jannetta Bos from the Netherlands who on 12th December held a workshop: WORKING TOGETHER ON INTIMACY AND SEXUALITY AFTER SEXUAL VIOLENCE.

Watch the video and find out what can you do (if you are not a sexologist) during trauma therapy with female survivors who want to work on recovery of intimacy and sexuality? Sexual problems are common in persons who experienced sexual violence – also after an evidence-based trauma treatment.

Presentation is available HERE.

Jannetta Bos is psychotherapist and sexologist engaged in Arq psychotrauma expert group from Diemen. Jannetta is working with patients who are victims of war, prosecution and violence and during the workshop she shared the experience she gained during many years of working with survivors. The workshop is very practical, so that you can get started right away. In role-playing, Jannetta was assisted by her colleague Alice de Bree, psychologist, who has been working with persons from Africa and the Middle-East, and since a while ago with adults and children from Central- and South-America and expats from Europe.
