Great news are coming from Croatia!
Representatives of Women’s Room participated on the meeting with Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, Minister of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, Josip Aladrović and Minister of Justice and Administration, Ivan Malenica.
With the aim of a comprehensive and more effective approach to sexual violence issue, National Strategy for Combating Sexual Violence will be developed. Furthermore, draft of proposal of amendments to the Criminal Code regarding to sexual harassment and statue of limitations for the serious criminal offense of child sexual abuse and exploitation referred to Article 166 was discussed. This draft of proposal will soon be refereed for public consultation.
